Photo Editor is a full-screen canvas for marking up an image: text, stickers, shapes, arrows, highlights and freehand drawing, placed anywhere and exported as a PNG. There is nothing to install and no account, and your image never leaves your browser.
Most image editing is annotation rather than retouching. Circling the broken component in a photo for a repair quote. Adding an arrow to a screenshot so a developer knows which button misbehaves. Labelling a diagram. Putting a caption on a picture for social media. None of this needs a professional application, and opening one for a thirty-second job is the reason people put these tasks off.
Screenshots are the biggest single use. A support ticket with an arrow pointing at the problem saves an entire round of back-and-forth email. Documentation with numbered callouts is dramatically easier to follow than prose describing where to click. Teachers annotate diagrams, estate agents mark boundaries on plans, and anyone reporting a bug gets a faster answer when they show rather than describe.

Use a colour that fights the background

Number your callouts
When you are marking several things, numbered labels tied to a written list are far clearer than a tangle of arrows pointing everywhere at once.
Blur sensitive details before sharing
Screenshots routinely contain emails, names and account numbers around the edges. Run them through Blur Image or Pixelate Image before attaching to a ticket.
Export is PNG for a reason
PNG keeps text and shape edges perfectly crisp. Saving annotations as JPG puts soft halos around exactly the lines you added.
