About Remove Pages
Remove Pages deletes the pages you do not want and rebuilds the PDF without them. You keep one document with the same formatting, minus the pages you ticked. It runs in your browser, so the file is never uploaded, and it costs nothing.
Documents accumulate pages nobody needs. A downloaded report opens with two pages of legal boilerplate before the content starts. A scanned batch picked up a blank sheet every time the feeder grabbed the back of a single-sided page. A contract template still carries the instruction page telling you how to fill it in. None of these need to survive into the copy you send on.
There is a privacy dimension too. Deleting a page here genuinely removes its content from the file rather than hiding it, so nobody can recover the page from the document you share. That matters when you are trimming an internal cover sheet with pricing notes off a proposal, or removing the page of a form that carries someone else's personal details. If you need to remove sensitive text from a page you are keeping rather than the whole page, use Redact instead.
How to Remove Pages
- Select the PDF you want to trim.
- Look through the page thumbnails to find what needs to go.
- Tick every page you want removed — you can select as many as you like.
- Double-check the selection, since the pages you tick are the ones that disappear.
- Download the trimmed PDF, which keeps everything you did not select.
Tips & common problems
Blank pages are usually scanner artefacts
If every second page is empty, your scanner ran in double-sided mode over single-sided originals. Removing them here fixes the current file; switching the scanner setting fixes the next one.
Page numbers printed on the page will not update
Removing page 4 does not renumber the footer on page 5. If the document shows its own page numbers, add fresh ones with Page Numbers after trimming.
Keeping more than you delete? Use Extract Pages
If you want five pages out of eighty, selecting seventy-five pages to delete is painful. Extract Pages lets you pick the five you want instead.
The original is never modified
