Combine Images
Join photos side by side, stacked, or in a grid — one image out. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
About Combine Images
Combine Images joins several pictures into a single image. Place them side by side, stack them top to bottom, or arrange them in a grid, add even spacing and a background colour, and download the result as a PNG or JPG.
Before-and-after comparisons are the most common use: two photos side by side make a renovation, a haircut, a repair or an edit obvious at a glance. Product sellers use it to show a front and back view in one listing image, and teachers to put a set of diagram steps together on one slide.
Screenshots are another. A conversation, a long receipt or a set of app screens captured one at a time can be stacked into one tall image that reads in order — much easier to send than five separate files.
“Match image sizes” scales everything to a common height (side by side) or width (stacked and grid) so edges line up neatly. Turn it off to keep every picture at its original size, centred in its slot. Everything happens in your browser, so personal photos are never uploaded.
How to combine images
- Add two or more images — JPG, PNG, WebP and more.
- Put them in order with the up and down arrows.
- Choose side by side, stacked or grid, and set the number of columns for a grid.
- Adjust spacing, background colour and whether sizes are matched.
- Pick PNG or JPG and download the combined image.
Tips & common problems
Choose PNG for screenshots
PNG keeps text in screenshots perfectly sharp and supports a transparent background. JPG makes much smaller files for photos.
Use spacing for a clean collage
A gap of 10–20 px with a white or brand-colour background makes a grid look deliberate rather than jammed together.
Match sizes for comparisons
With sizes matched, before-and-after photos line up at the same height, which makes the difference easier to see.
Very large results are scaled
If the combined image would exceed about 12,000 pixels on a side — the limit browsers can handle — it is scaled down proportionally so it still saves.
Frequently asked questions
How do I put two pictures side by side?
Add both images, choose “Side by side” and download. With “Match image sizes” on, both are scaled to the same height.
Can I make a photo grid or collage?
Yes. Choose Grid and set the number of columns; images fill the grid left to right, top to bottom, in the order shown.
Can the background be transparent?
Yes, when saving as PNG — choose “None” for the background. JPG does not support transparency, so a colour is always used.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
No fixed limit. Very large combinations are scaled down to stay within what a browser can draw.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Images are combined on a canvas inside your browser and never leave your device.
