Tips & common problems
Animations become their end state
A PDF is static, so a slide built up over five clicks appears as the finished result. If steps matter to your explanation, split them across separate slides before converting.
Speaker notes are not included
Only the slides are converted, which is usually what you want when sharing externally. If you need the notes, export a notes-pages PDF from PowerPoint itself.
Embedded video will not play
PDFs cannot run video. A slide containing one converts to its poster frame, so consider adding a visible link to the video for anyone reading the PDF.

Yes. Links placed on slides remain clickable in the PDF.
