About PDF to PowerPoint

Tips & common problems
Landscape PDFs make better decks
Slides are landscape. A portrait A4 page placed on a widescreen slide leaves large bands either side, so consider cropping to the content first if the result will be projected.
The text will not be editable
Pages arrive as images, so you cannot retype them in PowerPoint. If you need editable text, convert with PDF to Word instead and rebuild the slides from that.
Expect a large file
One high-resolution image per slide adds up quickly. Compress the PDF before converting if the resulting deck is unwieldy to email.
Trim first for long documents
