About PDF Forms
PDF Forms detects the interactive fields in a fillable PDF and lets you type straight into them, then download the completed document. No printing, no scanning, no desktop software. Everything happens in your browser, so the personal details you enter never leave your device.
Official forms are exactly the documents you least want to route through someone else's server. Tax returns, benefit claims, visa applications, mortgage paperwork, medical intake sheets and school enrolment forms all ask for the full set: name, address, date of birth, national insurance or social security number, bank details. Uploading that to an unknown web service to save yourself a trip to the printer is a poor trade, and it is why this tool runs locally.
Typed answers also get accepted more often than handwritten ones. Anything processed by an automated system reads clean type far more reliably than ballpoint, and rejected applications caused by an ambiguous handwritten digit are a genuinely common waste of everyone's time. A typed form looks more considered too, which is not nothing when the form is part of an application someone is judging.

- Review every answer, since corrections after submission are usually painful.

Tips & common problems
Always flatten before you send
Field values stay editable until flattened, and some readers display them inconsistently. Running the finished form through Flatten PDF locks your answers in and prevents the blank-form problem.
No highlighted fields means it is not fillable
Many forms are just scans or flat printouts with no interactive fields at all. Use Edit PDF instead and place text boxes over the blank lines.
Tab moves in the form's own order
That order was set by whoever built the form and is occasionally illogical. If Tab jumps somewhere unexpected, click the field you want directly.
Save a copy before flattening
Keep the unflattened version in case the recipient comes back asking for a correction — otherwise you retype the whole thing.
