About Excel to PDF
Excel to PDF turns XLS and XLSX spreadsheets into a fixed, printable PDF. The values are frozen as they appear, so nobody can alter a figure, and the layout stops shifting between different versions of Excel. Free, and your file is deleted right after conversion.
Spreadsheets make poor final documents. Send an invoice or a budget as .xlsx and the recipient can change a number, deliberately or by leaning on a key, and there is no record of it. Formulas are visible, which sometimes reveals pricing logic or assumptions you did not intend to share. Hidden columns and other sheets in the workbook travel along too, and people forget they are there far more often than they should.
There is also a formatting problem. A spreadsheet has no inherent page size, so what prints depends on the recipient's Excel settings and default printer.
